Members shared a wide variety of vitamins and supplements they take for fibromyalgia, with vitamin D, magnesium, and B vitamins being the most commonly mentioned, often recommended by doctors or naturopaths to address deficiencies or specific symptoms like muscle pain and sleep issues. Several members emphasized the importance of getting bloodwork done and consulting with healthcare providers before starting supplements, particularly noting that vitamin D is not water-soluble and can be harmful in excessive amounts. A recurring theme was personalized experimentation to find what works best for individual bodies, with many members combining supplements with dietary changes like reducing sugar and white flour, which some found triggered fibromyalgia flares.

I take a B-complex vitamin and 5000 units of vitamin D3 with K2. I'm allergic to vitamin C. I found it interesting that the medical professionals tell you to stay away from vitamins A, C and E if you're diagnosed with cancer.

I take vitamin D2 and B-12 for deficiencies, and magnesium for my muscular issues. I use to take potassium before I found out it's not safe for people with GERD, plus I'm suppose to have a low potassium diet now for CKD.
