I’ve had this since last Thursday. It’s stabbing/ throbbing pain and doesn’t make a difference if I have gas, go potty. I’m not sure if it could be inflammation or something else. Any tips or advice? Good bless!!

Members rallied around someone experiencing persistent lower abdominal pain for six days, with many encouraging an urgent care visit that ultimately revealed a urinary tract infection rather than initially suspected causes like ovarian cysts, interstitial cystitis, or pancreatic issues. Several members shared their own stories of chronic pelvic pain being misdiagnosed or dismissed for years before finding answers, including fibromyalgia pain, polycystic ovary syndrome, and endometriosis. A recurring theme was the importance of advocating for yourself with medical professionals, tracking symptoms carefully, and not dismissing persistent pain even when initial tests come back normal.

yes, I’ve had that pain before and I got worried that it could be something else so I went to the Doctor and got an Ultrasound, but they found nothing. But I still think to get it check, just in case

Unsure what 5/28 is.
I'm guessing an appt with one of your regular docs.

Maybe keep a journal of symptoms n things till then?
It's a ways out from when this all started
And it'll help you track if pain has worsened , spread , affected other things like potty breaks , fevers etc.

Just a suggestion

Oh gee
Thanks doc.

I mean you should follow up with someone. Can't just be willy nilly throwing out diagnoses like that without an ultrasound or x-rays or something.

Goodness.

We all were doing that and you didn't even need to pay us.
