Sometimes I will wake up and find that my ribs feel bruised (very tender even at the lightest touch). My twin brother also has fibro and his presents mostly with rib pain. During bad flare ups his chest pain (costochondritis) would get so bad that he had to go to the ER multiple times for fear of it being a heart attack (heart issues run in our family, especially in the men).
