I get feverish with extreme sweating and cold chills. Every few weeks as of late. I'm not sick, just feels like it. The sweating and not being able to get warm is the worst of it..

I'm going through a round of it right now. It's like the flu is coming on, but it's just fibro. Since I've had fibro for 45 years, I've learned to assume it's fibro and not a legit bug, and I just try to push on through. Since I live in isolation and can't go in public without a N95 mask to filter perfumes and smoke, I don't get exposed to bugs except at doctor's appointments or when hubby catches something and brings it home. It's easy to assume mine actually is fibro. (During the pandemic, his regular colds dropped greatly.) But when I was still working, it was the opposite. Figuring what was what was more difficult. Thankfully Fibromyalgia isn't contagious.

I find the best I can do is force myself to start the day, take breaks throughout and try to get at least one thing done. Just pushing through... suddenly the day is over it's time to cook dinner and I can finally soak in a hot tub! BTW, I noticed that I have felt this way much more so the last year, but I'm low on iron. There might be a correlation to that. How's your iron?

Yes, I can't control my temperature, sweat like crazy on my scalp - while feeling chilled, nausea several times a week. I keep ginger chews & tea handy, dress in layers.....

For 30 years I've had that. I get used to the sweats and wait for them to pass. The coldness I find that tight fitting athletic type clothes trap heat into my body and helps overcome being cold.
