"Hot" Spots
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have areas on their skin that are so sensitive that even soft material hurts it. The area may be as small as 4-5 inches to an entire hip. Doesn't last but a day or so, then it either goes away or moved to another area. I struggle with it a lot.

Yes, mostly on my right side lower ribcage area. Time to time goes to my wrists, sometimes to right hip bone area. The sensitive area usually is is the size of an egg. It feels the skin was burned but no redness, looks perfectly calm and normal. Even airflow irritates it the skin. I just wait it out, it gets better within a day or two.

Sure do. Sometimes it's a small spot, sometimes it's my entire body. I've noticed certain foods sets it right off.
