Has Anyone Tried Aquatic Therapy?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I started two weeks ago. I usually have a flare if I do PT, but so far so good. I hope to have good results, but I do not want to get my hopes up.

Yes! I just started pool therapy. I had to really fight myself to not overdo it…it’s so nice being in the pool! That said, I overdid it and took a week to recover, but dang it’s so hard to limit myself!! I believe it will help, as long as I don’t go trying to compete with everyone else in the pool 😬

I have and I have a pool and use it 3 days a week more if I can. It helps me feel better even if it's just to be in the water. I was also told to use the hot tub as well but have not done that yet.

I've done it off and on for decades. It really helps . I stopped going in January because I fell and broke a rib. It's healed, but now my husband has shingles and Bell's palsey on top of his other illnesses. I don't drive.

One of the benefits is that it will add to your social life. Another bunch of friends will boost your mood, which hopefully reduces your pain.
