Thank you. Im.considering a bite guard from the dentist. This pressure headache is something new for me, but I do believe its from the tmj. I'm trying the lidocaine infusions today actually. I'm sorry it didn't help you.

Hi Carla, I also cannot tolerate NSAIDS at high doses (horrible stomach pain). I tried lidocaine infusions last year. Although the calm and sleepy feelings were blissful, unfortunately there was no relief for me from fibro pain. I get swollen lymph nodes at the base of my skull often (occipital) and TMJ. My dentist created a guard that I sleep with to ease that pain. Maybe that could help?

Thank you both. I have been having a lot of neck problems and tmj issues. I just wish there were Dr's who specialized in fibro. I am beyond discouraged with this.
