Yes, also comes with dizziness at times. I always thought it is from anxiety. It feels like someone or something has a tight grip of the back of my neck, right under the skull/or heaviness feeling. The longest I had it for about 3-5 months. The shortest for few hours.

Hi Carla, I also cannot tolerate NSAIDS at high doses (horrible stomach pain). I tried lidocaine infusions last year. Although the calm and sleepy feelings were blissful, unfortunately there was no relief for me from fibro pain. I get swollen lymph nodes at the base of my skull often (occipital) and TMJ. My dentist created a guard that I sleep with to ease that pain. Maybe that could help?
