Right before my symptoms started my father had been diagnosed with brain cancer and the company I had worked for nearly ten years announced they were outsourcing our jobs. I definitely experienced emotional trauma right before all of my symptoms began. Thank you for posting this question. I think it could be helpful for newly diagnosed individuals.
Yes, mine was only emotional trauma, no physical.
I really didn’t have childhood emotional trauma but had a head injury when I was 12 and in coma 3 days. As an adult definitely. 3 rear ends in year and a half. When the pain really started. Had to drop out of FNP program and was almost finished. Then my dad died in the car on my way to hospital so lots of stuff. But my DNA reasearch study was positive for multiple auto immune disorders. So I think it’s more than one thing for some of us. It’s just so weird!
Yes! It directly falls in line with symptoms
I had physical and emotional abuse. I grew up in a fight or flight situation every moment of everyday for the first 15 years of my life. I think this had an impact on how my brain processes pain-fibromyalgia. 😮💨
