Talking is exhausting
I hate the phone with a passion.
I avoid it. You sure are not alone dear.
I get panicky and anxious on a long call(What I consider long)
And on my worst days I could screm when the phone rings or the phone is for me.
Seems the phone is for me when i really don't wanna talk.
And a voice yammering in my ear ugggh!
I'm SO glad you brought this up and SO glad I'm not the only one! I ve been wondering about this a lot lately, why do I hate it so much? I think I am bored by a lot of conversation honestly (what does that say about me?) but I find talking on the phone especially boring and tedious. I feel like an awkward teenager and avoid the phone at all costs. When it rings my first reaction is to run and hide. I'm an introvert for sure so I'm not a big talker anyway but I find phone conversations especially tedious. I think it takes less mental energy when I can see who I'm talking to, read body language etc. The fact that I've lost all my vocabulary and can't seem to find it doesn't help! 😆 Anyhow, thanks for sharing this 🤗
