I'm thinking of looking into buying a cane for a while now
Walking in the beginning can be alright but sometimes even a little in,
my joints have a habit of giving away.
And I get muscle spasms when my body gets tired which can also contribute to me falling.
So I'm hoping maybe a cane could help me my body gets stuborn but I still have to get home etc.
I figured black Friday might be the right time to look, to limit the cost.
So I was wondering if anyone had any experiences or tips.

I have a plain cane . I would get one that folds can be made to different height and can stand on it own
I use a Hurricane and have done so for years. It is light, foldable with carrying case, height adjustable, wide 3 toe base, and replaceable parts.
There's a mobility store near me and the staff there are very helpful. Don't know if there's one near you.
Whatever cane you choose there are additional parts you can add. I'm considering getting a broader stand with 3 ends rather than just 1 to add stability. It's available at a local pharmacy.
I've used a folding cane for travel. If I don't need it, someone else on my tour might.
Using a cane was a status symbol in earlier times. Years ago I bought one for my father that had a pool cue inside.
I used mine for the first time this weekend... It helped but I felt weird lol I suggest padded handle, my palm is sore and bruised
@A MyFibroTeam Member maybe get a golf glove. I think they help with grip.
