I have sort of something that sounds a bit like that, but not exactly, like that near my hairline, on my forehead. I asked the dermatologist about this. My sister had some, but her's disappeared. In my case, mine was a pre- cancerous keratosis lesion. It hurts when I brush my hair or touch it too much. So, off it goes, very soon. That is my case, not yours. Sending good thoughts.

I get small lesions on the base of neck, bilateral shoulders. One inner nostril gets a lesion in cold weather. They crust over with oval shaped eschar, like sesame seeds. I don't know what causes it, could be fabric.
