I've only just realised that it's linked to fibromyalgia .my eyes feel like they're swelling and sting but then get worse if I rinse them. At least I know what is causing it now instead of going into panic.

I have prescription antihistamine eye drops from my optometrist and get renewals from my doctor. My son uses over the counter antihistamine eye drops. Another option.
@A MyFibroTeam Member. I never thought about visiting other peoples homes and having this problem. I’ve had this problem for quite some time in childhood. I have a asthma and multiple allergies. My daughter has very nice couches that have down in the cushions. Down as the worst for me. When she first got them I would be coughing in the dining room. I have to be careful what products I use in the house and on myself.
Natasha, It could be from multiple of things. Outdoor allergies especially when ragweed season starts up. There’s a good product called Pataday eyedrops for that. I also have allergic conjunctivitis in my eye. I have use warm compresses several times a day. I hope it gets better for you 😘hugs
