I was diagnosed with Raynaud's syndrome this spring. Does it make your hands clumsy? I'm having a great deal of difficulty using eating utensils. I've had to sometimes double the time I allow to make meals.
Also my hands are weak and I can't lift much weight. I'm also dropping things constantly.
Hi Lynne, Do you know if you were tested for scleroderma? Very similar in some symptoms to Raynaud's but has extra symptoms that Raynaud's doesn't have. You could check it out online yourself before asking the Dr the question.
Thanks so much for this information. It took me more than half an hour to read all of this. I fell down the Google rabbit hole.
I'm seeing a naturopath for an initial appointment on Tuesday and will certainly bring up histamine intolerance. I'm also taking a list of my new symptoms. I have so many new ones over the past few years. We have categorized them for different areas of my body.
Doctors don't have all the answers. I thought Raynaud syndrome was caused by a lack of sufficient blood supply to your hands. Don't let your hands get too cold. My hands tremble also, I can't shuffle a deck of cards. I don't think Raynauds causes Trembling. I don't know what to do about trembling hands except to use one hand to steady the other. Don't let your hands get too cold and your fingertips turn blue. I think they hurt with heat because they're too cold and they get shocked with the heat. Try warming them up gradually. Don't allow your fingertips to turn blue.
Yes! My mom has this. I got her some of the iron shaving filled insta-hot hands, but they are disposable. We would like more good recommendations too.
Thanks!
@A MyFibroTeam Member, sorry to hear you have a problem with hands, some of your health issue look so familiar with mine. Please, keep me posted after your medical appointment. Sending healing vibes and prayers on your way. Yesterday, I felt asleep while I was sitting on my ... doing my thing. First time since I have fibromyalgia. Short memory loss and trying to find my words, another one came out of my mouth. It's frustrating, I feel like I'm falling apart. You take care,
