That’s one symptom I haven’t had , but if I was you I’d go back to your doctors and ask them to investigate , maybe have a camera down your throat to see what’s causing it , my brother had to have his esophagus stretched for the same complaint he much better for it . Hope that helps 🥰

Dysphasia is somehow linked to fibro however because fibro is still very much a mysterious disorder, the cause is speculation at best.
But, I can tell you from personal experience that I have had issues with swallowing, hoarseness and soreness of my throat for many years. I’ve been to an ENT, an allergist and also a gastroenterologist. The allergist was a waste of time, as was the ENT. The gastroenterologist was more effective and did help but after my third visit to have my esophagus stretched, I was told that am no longer able to have stretched because it is so damaged. I was diagnosed with EOE (eosinophilis esophagitis)and GERD. The only thing that helps me is Zegerid OTC.
Also, anxiety can cause throat tightness as well.

I have a sore throat all the time. ENT is worthless. Gastroenterologist just prescribed more and more pantoprazole. His latest Rx is Carafate which is $158 or as low as $75. Too much for my blood. I have had the camera routine and endoscopies to stretch the esophagus. I've had these problems forever and a day. I feel something in my throat as well Have Schatzkis ring (sp) and hiatal hernia. But ironically no burning. But life goes on and I do the best I can with what I've got.

I’ve been struggling with eating , taking my tablets for quite some time now. My food gets stuck in my throat and it results in me throwing up, I’ve learnt to eat my food slowly and chew it well , by the time I finish it’s stone cold , this is due to my hiatus hernia and I’ve been told there isn’t anything they can do .☹️
