I forgot to add, I’ve got Lupus also; the difference in rashes are obviously the commonly talked about symptoms of Lupus rash and the one that predominately attacks your skin. What I didn’t put together is that some of my rashes lasted for hours or overnight and can come up with heat and the sun and itchy too. Always good to have an allergist in your support team as they can also help sort things out from an allergy perspective when blood and skin allergy panels come up normal.

for about 6 years I’ve been dealing with rashes in different places, hives, and itchiness. And trying to explain it outside of pictures was hard. We weren’t sure (myself and drs) if it was Lupus or something else until recently when my allergist tested for a common Urticaria antibody and I came up positive. It definately explains alot!

What do they look for with psoriasis?

I've had issues here and there (being overweight exasperates it, for sure) but I've been overweight and my entire life and now having issues somewhere that was never a consideration or thought before. My stuff makes me feel gross 🙁
