Get lawyer that specializes in disability and only gets paid when you do. Ask dr to write letter stating that you're disabled. Save all paperwork and when filling out form list everything you have going on like lupus, depression, ddd, arthritis, migraines whatever but be sure to list all. Do whatever they ask of you like xrays, MRIs. My lawyer was good and explained it all to me. See all referals dr may ask of you like rheumatologist or chiropractor. It takes two years just for a hearing so try to plan for that $$. Savings goes fast. We went over two years living on just husbands salary and it got very difficult at times. I won mine at 1st hearing but they took away all back pay but by then we were so broke we took what they were giving. I had 1st check one month later. Oh and lawyer did all ralking at hearing. I retired early due to multi probs in 2012.
Applied for disability and in 2018 went before a judge and a job expert. They had my medical records too. The job specialist was addressed by the judge. I was awarded disability.
Lots of paperwork up front and I did it alll without a lawyer.
If your medical record and doc visits are logged in your record you can p probably get disability with no problem good luck!
