Most days I experience shortness of breath with very little exertion. If I have to carry anything it’s really bad. It goes away pretty fast though.
I always have pain between my shoulder blades and wonder if that is a contributing factor.
Is it just me?
Yes, I do experience that off and on, particularly when I have to climb stairs or carry anything more than a couple of pounds. I can't be certain it is related to fibro as I was diagnosed with Long Covid. Had Covid 3 times (diagnosed) and once suspected at the beginning of the pandemic. But even before that, I was noticing that exercise was harder, ran out breath faster, and tired more quickly. Chalked it up to fibro, arthitis, chronic fatigue, age and other medical issues. I am 67, was diagnosed at 52, but pretty sure I had the fibro long before that time. I also have GERD and reflux and now IBS and BPS. I do believe, though, that fibro "slows down" our bodies and can cause this shortness of breath. No medical evidence, just my belief, of course.
So based on personal experience when I have that sharp pain under or between my shoulder blades is it because of acid and reflux, I never believed it myself until I was told I have GERD which is acid reflux. So maybe look into that as well.
Yes it happens but what you're describing could be heart. I had heart attack sept 21 and i had both of those
Hi, experienced that twice in the last month but it is not so bad, guess that is another symptom of Fibro.
