Hi, yes at times. Try and find things you enjoy even at home to keep your spirits up.

Youre allowed to feel this way. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise. I just wanted to start with that. Youre dealing with Something tremendously hard. An illness that has no rhyme or reason to it that also effects mood, youre bound to feel down and anxiety just comes with the territory. The best thing you can do is keep coming here. Talking to others who understand and support you. Know its ok to stay home and rest if youre physically or mentally exhausted. Know that feeling bad passes and if its hanging out then we live in a wonderful world of medication that can help turn that frown upside down! Hang in there youve got this!

Sweet Lisa,

I know exactly how you feel. I'm pretty introverted already so when I am low I really don't want to go anywhere at all. It does help to get some fresh air and sunshine though if you can sit on a patio or balcony.

Another person suggested things you like to do at home and that's a great idea! Sudoku, puzzles, crafts like painting or coloring for adults can help your mind stay busy on something else and engaged ( I crochet, it really helps my anxiety). Or journaling to get your feelings out on paper.

One of the best ways I ever heard to reverse depression was to help someone else. Just going to this community and helping someone get through a tough day of their own can lift your spirit more than you can imagine.

Lastly but certainly not the least, is prayer. Even if you can't find the right words, start with giving thanks for what you do have...breath in your lungs, the people who love you and for Jesus loving you always!

Love, prayers, and a soft hug,
Candia
