Does anyone else have feeling of anger and frustration? I feel like I’m angry and/or frustrated a good part of the time because of fibromyalgia. It’s affecting my marriage. What do you all do to help with anger/frustration?

It’s probably a result of the pain. Have you tried CBD. Lemon balm tincture also. Maybe keeping a journal of it all.

For low level anger/frustration I do something creative, journal, turn on music and/or spend time with my fur babies.
For moderate level, I do something that requires focus to distract myself, like doing a puzzle or reorganizing a drawer, call or text a friend and vent for a short time.
For higher levels of frustration I do breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, yoga or light exercise and outside activity or meditation. Then I wash my face, which is supposed to slow heart rate and breathing.
The only thing that helps in the long term for controlling these emotions seems to be realigning my expectations of others in my orbit. It's difficult, but not impossible.

I’m sorry you are feeling frustrated. It’s also difficult trying to keep a relationship from getting the hits from it.

Yep always, I'm sorry your experiencing this too, I've become a loner and a hermit because of it and still swear out loud and break down crying from it on a daily basis, I don't seem to be able to function anymore and thinking there is a link with ADHD and fibromyalgia 😔

Thank you for your comment. I hope I get to your stage soon. I don't like to feel angry. I would like the slings and arrows to be as water on a duck's back. I hope all is going well for you. Best wishes always. 🎭 Linnie
