I am really struggling with Jojnt pains and especially Shin splint pain on both legs. I do not take painkillers as none have ever worked. Any advice would be appreciated 🙏.

Best wishes Derek

Members shared a range of approaches to help someone struggling with fibromyalgia-related joint pain and shin splints, particularly when traditional painkillers haven't worked. Several members recommended topical solutions like DMSO gel (originally used for horses), emu oil, and CBD oil, while others suggested supplements such as glucosamine (with a helpful warning about shellfish allergies) and prescription medications including Duloxetine and oxycodone combinations. A recurring theme was the value of exploring alternative remedies and working closely with doctors to find what works, with members emphasizing the importance of persistence and mutual support through the difficult journey of managing chronic pain.

I had pain in my shins for a long time. Then after a bone density test they discovered I had osteoporosis. After being on Fosamax tablet and calcium for several months it lessened greatly.
CBD and Tylenol daily for achy fibromyalgia, and painful arthritis.
Also Emu oil helps a lot for bone pains.

Can’t see the other responses but I went to the Dr last month with the same issue. He gave me a script for Duloxetine HCL. Took about a week but most of my joint pain is gone and it was very bad.
