I don't go outside as the sun and heat are my enemy. If I go out to get in the air conditioned car, I must wear long sleeved tops and long pants. I have to also wear sunglasses year round. I stay inside in the cool as much as possible. We have an air conditioned house and ceiling fans in every room except the bathrooms. I wear light pajamas or night gown and eat cool food such as fruit etc. I don't eat hot foods when it is hot out. I listen to my body. I cannot even go outside to swim. I do what I can if my body is up to it. If I go to the grocery store, I go in the evening. I always have my drink with me which is iced water with a little Pedialyte in it which helps with my bone pain. I purchased a metal cup with a lid and metal straw. I even take this to bed and put it on my nightstand. I drink a lot. It seems to cool my body. I try to stay as cool as possible. I wear my comfy clothes (pjs) all day long unless I have to go out. I am medically retired as I have fibromyalgia, lupus sle, and a host of other autoimmune diseases. I listen to my body.

I drink plenty of water, dress cool as possible, go swimming if possible, have a cool to cold water sprayer for neck and face.
