Does anyone feel I guess spaced out is the term, from yourself. You're there but not really?? Does that make sense? It's like I'm moving but watching some else. I know sounds weird πŸ˜–

Members overwhelmingly related to the feeling of being mentally detached or spaced out, identifying it as fibro fog, a common symptom of fibromyalgia that affects memory, concentration, and mental clarity. Several members described unsettling experiences like operating on autopilot, forgetting simple tasks mid-action, blanking on friends' names, or feeling as though they were watching themselves from outside their own body. A recurring theme was the frustration of having no clear answers or treatments from doctors beyond medication, coupled with the emotional toll of loved ones mistaking these symptoms for something more serious like Alzheimer's.

Absolutely! All. The. Time. Thar, unfortunately, is a classic symptom of fibromyalgia πŸ˜₯

Sometimes I run alot on autopilot and let the subconscious or preconscious take over with routine tasks. This leaves room for my conscious mind to think about more important things, but then I occasionally can't remember how I got from point A to point B with the tasks on autopilot. Like going to reset the coffee pot when I did that already.
