Can't say if your pain is caused by inflammation or not, when my blood tests came back negative for inflammation markers certain diseases were ruled out.. It always jerks my chain when a doctor automatically goes to "It's your fibromyalgia" for any new symptom. Depending on your age for gynecological issues you should have your hormones checked! Go to a gynecologist for sore breasts, painful periods. I saw my PCP for years and just got higher doses of pain meds for my periods, ended up at 33 with a hysterectomy because I had endometriosis!
It could be fybromyalgia. My periods are more painful 😫
@A MyFibroTeam Member okay this is all so new to me! Another question has fibro affected your menstrual cycle... my period is 5 days late, my breast and nipples have been sore for a couple of weeks now.... I finally started my period today and it is so so so light.. I am 46 years old.. I'm not sure if it's pre menopause or fibro... I told my rheumatologist my beast were sore she said it's because of fibro
People with FM have more inflammation than normal. That's one reason we are hurting (among others). None can pin down. the exact cause. There no "test" to show the disease (currently).
