I've had a lot of problems recently with my Local GP and have lost all trust in them, but have some serious medical problems that I need to have looked at, but no matter what I do they won't listen to me and keep fobbing me off. I don't know what to do or who else I can go to. I've been in so much pain and need looking at but my doctor just won't entertain it.
(Edit, I live in the UK, just noticed that's an important bit of Info)

Sometimes a counsellor can help
that being said they usually confer with your GP so you are back to square one.
Stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Many of us need to be our own advocates and that is dang hard to do!

Unfortunately there is not much you can do or services that can help. I'm in the UK I tried legal action and I was advised speak to my gp 🤷‍♂️ I been dealing with hawks which useless. First step even worse. Persistent physical pain services which are as much use as wet paper bag. I feel like any one with Fibromyalgia are just lost to word and not shocked at tall why the nick name is suicide illness

Do you have doctors that specialize in Internal Medicine? If so, I would try them. I don't know much about the UK's medical situation so I can't offer much more than that. Hope you find someone that can help!

You can specify which gp you want to see, you dont have to see that gp and can ask for another. You can also change surgeries without any repercussions, you can also make a complaint about a gp to the medical authority, doctors are accountable just like everyone else. So dont get down, if you want clarification try citizens advice.
