Members bonded over the frustration of weight gain and the difficulty losing it while managing fibromyalgia and chronic conditions, with many citing antidepressants (especially Cymbalta) and other medications as major contributors alongside reduced mobility, chronic pain, and metabolic changes. Several members shared their experiences with various weight loss attempts, including going off certain medications, starting Saxenda, exercising regularly, and trying multiple diets, though most found sustained progress elusive after initial weight loss. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of managing weight while balancing pain, medication side effects, and aging, with members ultimately finding solidarity in letting go of unrealistic expectations and supporting one another through the challenge.

Oh my gosh, YES!!!
With 3 meds that cause weight gain, being unable to exercise enough, various pains in my feet, knees, hips, back, chronic migraines, menopause and just my age...🙄 I don't have much of a chance. 😭. Finally gave up and got rid of my smaller clothes.
