I suffer from joint hypermobility and experience dislocations, I've had this since young and I'm just wondering how many of you also suffer from this as some people think there is a link between joint hypermobility and fibromyalgia.

Members responded enthusiastically to the question about joint hypermobility and fibromyalgia, with many confirming they also experience hypermobile joints and several sharing that the condition runs in their families or affects multiple generations. Several members suggested getting tested for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), noting that hypermobility, dislocations, and stretchy skin are common signs, and some shared their own diagnoses including hypermobility spectrum disorder and chronic pain syndrome. A recurring theme was the strong belief in a connection between joint hypermobility and fibromyalgia, with members also noting that hormones can affect both conditions.

Definitely worth getting tested. Everything you describe goes with Ehlers Danlos
