Definitely not related to fibro. I didn't flare afterward.

My attack was the night of my mother's funeral 2009. It was infected and considered an emergency. My surgery was bumped because of more serious emergencies. Finally the infection was too bad and it became too dangerous to operate so I was put on a 6 week course of antibiotics and sent home. I was put on a NO fat diet for the 6 weeks. Any fat and I was in agony. Anyway not even any scars now to prove it.

I had my gallbladder surgery on August 15th. I'm not sure if there's an actual study where fibromyalgia compromises anything....but I have to have a colonoscopy September 1st due to not being able to use the restroom without a laxative daily.

After my gallbladder surgery I spent about 6 months not noticing the fibromyalgia pain and symptoms beyond a little bit of weakness and fatigue. I was hopeful that the issues that I was having prior to the surgery had been eliminated due to the surgery. But 6 months later that stuff started coming back. So if anything maybe you'll feel better after the surgery at least for a while.

Having your gallbladder removed is not fun, but it just happened that way. I am not a professional and I don’t know if it’s related to fibro.
I don’t think you will flareup after because they will keep you very comfortable.
You will relax but don’t overdo it dear!
