Members connected over the question of whether gallbladder problems are linked to fibromyalgia, sharing experiences that ranged from gallstones and surgical removal to managing symptoms through dietary changes and natural remedies. Several members described relief from gallbladder pain by avoiding fried foods, drinking peppermint and dandelion teas, and taking milk thistle supplements, while others noted that their fibromyalgia symptoms began shortly after gallbladder removal or during gallbladder issues. A recurring theme was the complex relationship between digestive health and fibromyalgia, with many wondering whether one condition triggered or worsened the other.

My doctor said that because they remove the bile duct as well we don't have the stomach juices so to speak to break down the fatty foids properly and your gall bladder would normally be the organ to filter that food through your body.
