Has anyone ever tried this for fibro symptoms? Has it helped?

Me, too, Downhill2! Actually, a friend of mine told me about it. I found studies on Google that say it helps fibro pain. Collagen is a protein normally found in the body that decreases as we age but I read that in people with fibro, collagen was found to be deficient regardless of age. I don’t know if it will work for me, but I am going to give it a try.

I've been putting collagen powder in my protein shakes every day. Only a month in, but I think it is helping because when I exercise, my joints don't hurt as bad as they did before. Of course I have bad knees due to a car accident so they still have the grinding sound due to the arthritis that set in, but I'm still able to do the squats without pain. I've started taking a probiotic as well.

I take collegen, good. For joints, if joint pain is one your biggest issue, diet and gut biome tend to be route cause.
Your gut to brain connection has been proven to cause most symtoms that us fibro patients recieve, that and mineral or nutrient deficiency.. I started treating fibro like an auto ammune disorder and im 90 percent normal. It put the 10 percent down to the long term damage from handfuls of medications symtoms over the years.

Thanks, John! How long did it take for the collagen to help your pain? I read that it can take a long time for it to work.
