A core feature of fibromyalgia (FMS) is cognitive dysfunction. The predominant clinical manifestations is memory loss; however impaired word retrieval frequently referred to as word finding difficulty sometimes unfolds in the clinical situation as the central patient focus.

Yes! Constantly! I can’t think right anymore! I call things other things like a ladder a microwave and so on. When I start to talk my words come out tripping all over. I can’t remember anything and my eyes are so much more sensitive to bright light. I am so fatigued but then I can’t sleep

I absolutely do! It drives me crazy because I am so aware of it! Also I sometimes have issues following what others are saying especially if it's a long tale.

Oh yes! When in college I had a minor in English so I knew my grammar, and I was a perfect speller. Good at writing, too. To hear me speak, you would never know I once knew how to speak properly.
