Several members offered helpful tips including searching 'vestibular migraine' online, contacting a GP, and one member shared that medications like Betahistine helped manage their vertigo. A recurring theme was the comfort of knowing they were not alone, with many expressing gratitude for the community's support and encouragement to be honest with doctors rather than masking symptoms.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I am on Betahistine Dihydroc 16mg for vertigo and Ketorolac Tromethamine 10mg for the headaches. I only take that one when needed.

Ohh yessss, vertigo and headache that sometimes feels like an ax is hitting my head over and over.
I walk in the mornings, sometimes I get vertigo pretty bad while walking, kind of like the "drunk Walk when you have m. s.
I was tested for m. s and other stuff, all came back to fibromyalgia.
I've read on Mayo clinic site that it's pretty normal for fibromyalgia however, not all of us have the exact symptoms.
Hug's to you❣️
Hope you're having a low pain day

Hey sister I am sorry you experienced it , I am still wonky from last week, nerve blocks have helped but I feel they have sent the pain elsewhere x I think my indoor jitter is anxiety so I think I will speak to gp tomorrow I can’t wait till 30th x I have noticed when it’s bad I have suitcase eyes and a stuffed nose , just one or two points to watch. Although everyone is different ❤️ Symptoms can last for days including facial like moi 🫠🫶🤣 do you feel drained? X it exhausts me .
I did my pots and a neighbour dropped a plant for me x I hope your symptoms pass . ❤️

Masking is definitely not healthy. It is a response to survival of your life, until you realize that's not a life.

I know Bluebird21. Over the years i just put a check mark on FMS. Over the later years I learned what was going on. The hard part was keeping my illnesses a secret. I was wilting and dragging before end of day. By Friday, unrecognizable! Lol I never loss time from work, in fact longer days to get things done. Even though I am worn and tired, people are surprised by my age. They think I am 15 years younger and dog tired! Lol
