Ozempic And Weight Loss

Ozempic And Weight Loss

Hi Everyone

Olga, have you had your thyroid checked? I am hypothroid and before being diagnosed put on weight although I had no appetite. Once I was on medication, the weight just fell off. Just a thought. I have not heard of Ozempic. My son went to a dietitian and has had excellent results.

I have an observation that I hope will help us all going forward. Olga, you live in Canada and hjberry lives in Australia. I live in the U.S. We should all keep in mind that we have members from other nations on our site. Drugs and how they are prescribed and even availabilty can be vastly different in other countries. I believe hjberry was referring to Australia. I also believe Olga overreacted. Hope this helps..🙏

HI Olga, my doctor put me on Ozempic to lose weight. I lost about 12 pounds at first then gained it all back. She upped my does but my weight has not budged. It does help suppress the appetite though for me. I too struggle with weight loss. I'm now 58 and post menopause. I have tried walking 3 miles a day, no weight loss, I ate hardly anything and drink a gallon of water, no weight loss. I started going to a gym. It has been 3 months now, I gained 6 pounds. I've lost a few inches but no weight. She put me on hormone cream as well. I now have a fatty liver to deal with. I'm pretty frustrated but have not given up. I eat pretty healthy and have upped my protein intake which was fairly non existent. I'm not sure what the next steps are for me. I wish you the best of luck! Just don't ever quit!
