I have been a low dose Naltrexone going on 2 yrs now and it has been a life saver for me personally. I tried every type of opioid, non opioid pain reliever there is with no success for my fibro pain, not to mention the high risk of dependency with opioid medication, is not an option for me as addiction runs in my family. Naltrexone is a much safer choice, I've found that it not only takes the edge off of my fibro pain(taking 2mg 2x per day NOT a 1x dose), it also has made a huge difference in my immune system. Before my LDN I too was catching many colds/viruses throughout the year, in the last year I've only been sick twice and one of those was from recieving my covid booster.
Overall, I've found the LDN along with 300 mg 2x per day Gabapentin has helped me with immune system and lowering my pain. Ofcourse, all of my fellow fibro sufferers know all too well, nothing gets rid of our pain and long list of other symptoms completely, we can only hope to find something that may help us live our best lives. I'm just simply responding to let you know my experience with LDN. I hope your experience continues to be positive with your immune system. 💛
Did you have a question concerning low dose Naltrexone? I have been taking it for about 3 months. I have only caught two viruses, which is a huge improvement from about a virus a week since covid 18 months ago. I have had a few side effects though and it has not been a miracle drug. I would like to have anyone's opinion of this drug if they have tried it or are on it right now. I do believe it has strengthened my immune system I, as it was supposed to! I do still get relapses of my fibro though.
