I wanted to join to see how others are handling their problems with fibro and maybe I could get some validation or a feeling of support from others in the same boat. I don't know what to expect, really.

My fibro symptoms started when I was 19, just back then I didn't know what was going on or what it was called.

This is a great place. People are knowledgeable, understanding, and will listen in good time and bad.

Problem with fibro is no one knows what causes it. Also, another problem is people especially doctors might not really believe you.

I don't believe it ever goes away you just deal with it the best way we can.

But we are here for you.

It doesn't go away but you will learn to deal with it and know what will make you feel worse and when you need to slow down for a bit. Hormones effect me and i have gotten worse over time but i just try to find new ways to cope.

Get the book with the green cover called Fibromyalgia and Myofacial Pain Syndrome. It's the best way to explain everything.
