Members responded with strong support to the question of whether irritability is normal when living with fibromyalgia pain, with an overwhelming consensus that it absolutely is. Several members described how high pain levels drain their energy and motivation, with common coping strategies including using a heating pad and resting in bed for comfort. A recurring theme was that pain, frustration, tiredness, and sensory sensitivity all pile up together, and members encouraged one another to hang in there and know they are not alone.

Absolutely! When your pain is high you have no get up and go! I find I end up in the bed for comfort with my heating pad!

Hi Christa..yes irritation and desperation I find common. Someone yesterday told me about anti-convulsion medication that helped her a lot with pain. Haven't tried it yet.
