Stock ur tongue out of ur mouth and rest it on ur teeth. Dont bite hard! OLD FASHIONED trick:) idk why it relaxes. Try not to think of serious things before bed
Reading scripture at night or heart warming books may also help you fall asleep w happy loving thoughts.

Be careful some medications for Fibromyalgia and other ailments can cause nightmares might be a good idea.
To check your medication see your Doctor and asking for something else that doesn't give you nightmares.
Hope that You find what works for You.

Do you take any anxiety.brain meds.....huge side effects of many of them,
I sleep in short bursts, when I sleep, so not much time for dreams - still have a few.
Best of luck.
Talk with your Doctor about them, there isn't much you can do about them. but try changeing your state of mind that may help with the nightmares not take them away but make them not so scary or happen every night. and again talk with you doctor
