I see both because of migraines for the neurologist, but rheumatologist definitely has more knowledge and is a little more helpful
I use only my pcp dr. He's the best. Takes care of me better then Rheumatologist or pain management.
Stick with therapy for sure
My insurance company said that where I live, Tucson az, rheumatologist won't take fibromyalgia patients. The best neurologist can't see me until December. They suggested a pain clinic. I don't know what else they can offer me. I have done all the usual...ablation, acupuncture, nerve blocks, steroids, epidural etc, etc, etc. The only thing I haven't tried is the implanted nerve stimulator???.I have been on all different meds, Cymbalta, Neurontin, pain meds etc. I am also working with my psychiatrist on the psychological aspects of pain. I am at my wits end. Any suggestions??? Please and thank you all for your knowledge and advice.
For me, the neurologist
