My Chronic fatigue is flaring and i am trying to get more sun sleep and coffee but I'm still feel wrecked 90% of the time. Most of the time I'm in a haze of brain fog so bad from it and my body feels like I'm dragging around lead weights. Luckily when it gets the worst of me and my body reboots as my boyfriend calls it (naps involuntarily) he just let's it happen and takes over. Has anyone found anything to help, meds or alternatively?
How much protein do you eat daily? Dr.Ginevra Liptan explains that we process protein at a higher rate than healthy people do. Try eating some protein every 2 hours and see if that helps with your energy levels. 80-100 grams daily is suggested.

Yes I have taken Adderall for years due to my ADD so it definitely helps with my fatigue. An antidepressant that is known to be activating was given to me today actually by my doctor because I am weaning off cymbalta due to extreme sweating problems it gives me. The med is called Wellbutrin and doesn’t make you sleepy my doctor said. I tried modafinil (provigil and nuvigil) and it helped a little but at the highest dose which I didn’t like but insurance won’t pay for it anyway, and never helped as much as my Adderall which helps with my motivation and depression, anxiety, for my concentrate in work and with the brain fog which is a big problem for me.
One of my biggest complaints about fibromyalgia is the extreme fatigue I frequently experience. However, since I am now being prescribed Adderall for my adult ADHD, which is a stimulant, I am not plagued with the problem of fatigue anymore, and it is very effective in reducing brain fog and increasing my ability to focus, which is a major issue for people with ADHD.
I just started modafinil a few days ago. It is still early but it seems like it is helping.
Do you have a doctor? Everyone 's body is so different and it appears that one medication that works great on one person does nothing for another! I take a low dose antidepressant (Zoloft). I also take Cbd oil which I have found helps with pain and insomnia. This disease waxes and wanes and hold tight to family and friends when you are in a flare. You will get better!💗🙏
