Bipolar Disorder?

Bipolar Disorder?

So I have Bipolar I with psychotic features and rapid cycling. My mental health problems fuel my physical problems which then feed my mental problems. It's a lovely cycle. But, does anyone out there have that problem? I am cycling fast because of the pain. Does anyone know anything about that? Thanks.

The simple way to manage both is to reduce stress and pace yourself. Learning your triggers for your bipolar will make a big difference and then putting things in place to reduce your cycling. Getting appropriate medication for both would also help. I work with people with bipolar and one thing we do is look at daily activities and try to ensure there is a balance of activity and rest periods and this really helps. Sharing your care would also be really helpful so that people around you can calm you down if you start getting too high. Good luck.
