My doc switched me from a SSRI to Effexor and i have had absolutely terrible side effects. Just curious if anyone else who has taken Effexor before can tell me about how long the side effects lasted? I've been on it for a little over 3 weeks now and have struggled with horrible dizziness, nausea, headaches, and hot flashes in my face. I've heard about Effexor....my sister takes it for anxiety and it does have bad withdrawals. I was taking Lyrica for sciatica and found by accident that it helped with fibro. After doing some research, I found out that Lyrica is also used for fibro treatment. I have yet to speak to my doctor because of this pandemic but I found that Lyrica helps with fibromyalgia.

I've been on wellbutrin to quit smoking and to chat anxiety. I'm also on Lyrica which helps a lot with the pain of fibro. I've also heard negative reviews for effexor.
