Covid Vaccine

Covid Vaccine

Hi lovelies, just wondering if anyone has had the Oxford covid 19 vaccine and if so how it affected them? I'm due to have mine soon as I'm a carer for my clinically vulnerable partner but I'm terrified that it's going to cause a horrendous flair with pain. Hope everyone is well

I had the maderna about a month ago and I didn't have any symptoms and it didn't even hurt getting it. But the next day I couldn't lift my arm and it was pretty sore but it only lasted one day. I get my second vaccine next week and I'm a little worried since I've heard the second dose is what gives people symptoms such as fever and body aches. But I did hear that it only lasts for a day. I'm hoping it goes well. I'll keep you guys posted.

Thought I'd update you all, had the astra vaccine yesterday afternoon (12.30) i thought I wasnt going to have any side effects but I woke up at 2am with high temp, chills the most ridiculous pains in my shins, back, arms and ankles. The man I spoke with at the vaccine hub did warn me before I had the Jab that my age group seem to suffer alot with side effects and because of fibro I will probably be in alot of pain, now dosed up on pain meds and a Beechams. Hope everyone else is well xxx

I haven’t si I’m not much help but I understand your nervousness..can’t find an opening but I’d rather other symptoms than lung trouble..I think it will be worth it. And covid is the worst evil.
