MY different types of pain

Overall pain - If you have ever run a very high fever or had a really bad case of the flu, where every inch of your body hurts, this is fibromyalgia. Not much works to relieve the horrific discomfort.

Ridgedness - This goes beyond morning stiffness. It is your body muscularly locking down. To take a step or reach for a glass you meet resistance. You literally have to force stretching out the muscles in order to move. The resistance is strong and the stretching is… read more

Members deeply connected over experiencing multiple distinct types of fibromyalgia pain, validating the original poster's detailed description of overall body pain, muscle rigidity, skin sensitivity, and sharp electrical sensations that many confirmed experiencing simultaneously. Several members shared practical strategies including TENS unit placement, CBD and THC products, gentle stretching before getting out of bed, and Quell devices, while also discussing lesser-known symptoms like internal tremors, sudden stabbing or stinging sensations, and the frustrating pattern of feeling good one day only to crash with increased pain the next. A recurring theme was the belief that fibromyalgia is progressive despite what doctors claim, the challenge of overlapping conditions that compound pain, and the difficulty of explaining constantly shifting pain locations to others who don't understand the unpredictable nature of the condition.

Yes I have different types of Pain as well but I also have constant pain in areas especially my back my arms and legs that never goes away.

Overall pain is normal and the levels of pain as well some days are definitely worse than others.

At the moment I have Excruciating Pain in the top of my abdomen not to far from the sternum, don't know what is causing this horrific pain, neither do the Doctors have had these pains start about a couple of months after having my Gallbladder Surgery.

Many people here including myself have other Health Issues and on Top of Fibromyalgia Pain can make me feel much worse.

Also many Doctors always say that Fibromyalgia doesn't get worse over time, I feel that they are wrong and Fibromyalgia does get worse over time.

Good morning, what a great description of my fibro. I have all types mentioned. I also feel tendons or ligaments in pain, can’t tell which exactly. It’s not the same as my muscle pain. I also agree fibromyalgia is progressive. ❤️✝️👵🏻

Ooh thanks for helping me put a name on the shake episodes! It’s only my eyes and face believe it or not(weird). I’ll grab hold of my eye, say softly “calm down”... ugghhh

Y'all wont believe this. I've never looked up menopause on the internet. I started so long ago that there was no internet! Then my hot flashes were helped by my natural hormones so I had no need. I never dreamed that a doctor would take away a medicine that helps me!!! I guess I need to check it out now though cause I'm on my own on this one unless I find a new doctor.
