Members connected over experiencing frequent unexplained bruises, particularly on their arms and legs, with many sharing that easy bruising and broken blood vessels are common fibromyalgia symptoms that rarely show up on standard blood tests. Several members offered reassurance that while this symptom can be frustrating and scary, it is typical for fibromyalgia patients, though they encouraged monitoring for unusually large bruises or facial rashes that might warrant additional testing for conditions like lupus. A recurring theme was the emotional relief of knowing others share the same experience, balanced with gentle encouragement to stay vigilant and communicate openly with doctors about any concerning changes.

Ive read that bruising easily is typical for Fibro patients. I've always bruised easily and while I buimp myself a lot like Mark (also bc we may move clumsily fast), there are times I don't even know what a bruise is from. But yes bruising easily is typical for us, and bruise lingers longer. But Jasmina, if you wake up with a lot of bruises, or larger than normal bruises you should see your specialist again, just to be sure.

Zoes

I am covered in bruises all the time. The majority are on my legs but I get them all over. Rarely know the reason.

Thank you Zoes. Its looks more like my blood vessels break and makes bruise. I noticed its more if I am exercise or picking up heavy things. I will talk to my doctor again about it on my next appointment. Take care . Hugs to you 🤗
