Hi guys, do you guys bruise easily? Im having the weirdest experience. I wore shoes last week but it fit quite tight but not that tight around the toes. I wore them to work for 2 days. A day After that both my big toes on the inner side turned purple. Like bruising.. the only thing i can think is the shoes. Cause its on both toes and its only on the inner side (where the other toes are) and not the whole nail only like a quarter on each side.

Members overwhelmingly related to the experience of easy bruising with lupus, with many describing mysterious bruises appearing without clear cause, particularly on legs and arms, and taking much longer than normal to heal. Several members shared that vitamin deficiencies may play a role, recommending blood work to check iron levels and supplementing with vitamin C, vitamin D, and B12 to help reduce bruising frequency and severity. A recurring theme was the frustration of not knowing where bruises come from, the lingering pain even after discoloration fades, and the importance of discussing unusual or persistent bruising patterns with a doctor to rule out other underlying issues.

Yes I bruise easily half the time I don't know where they come from especially all over my legs.

My only conclusion is that I have iron defeciency anaemia get your Doctor to run tests next time when you get blood work done.

I also take Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 as well as iron tablets.

Yes, bruising does seem to be an issue with us. Especially since we are prone to dizziness. Plus sometimes the coloration lasts longer than it should. I have a bruise from 6 mths ago..
