How do you cope when your body tells you to slow down and not do so much, but you have no choice? I have a four year old, a seven month old, and my dad has had four major surgeries in four months. My mom works and my husband works along with school full time, so I take care of all of them plus cooking, dishes, laundry, and cleaning if I'm up to it. Some days the pain is so unbearable, but I can't just stop and take time. How do you get through it?
If I were You I would see your Doctor and ask for adequate Pain Medications to help you cope.
Other than Pain Medications I use heat Pads at night and Pain Creams as well.
But because of the physical stress and mental Stress with looking after your Family, I feel medication would be the best for You.
Is there any way that you can get home help to help take the pressure off You.
Hope You find out that works for you.
Blessings to You and your Family.

Thank you all. I am waiting for results on my back mri that i am getting tomorrow. Hopefully we can find a treatment plan from there.
You are the epitome of Wonder Woman.
You are gracefully doing the impossible.
But before you hit a wall or crash lsnd let me offer a few survival skills.
1) Find space in your budget to hire a weekly housekerper( after the pandemic)
If it means giving something else up to afford it, DO IT.
2) Try healthy meal delivery. There are many companies out there to choose from. Some not so tasty, others delicious.
Here is a link to reviews of different meal plans. βFactorβis having a $90 discout to new members. This company was recommended by my busy doctor daugther. She isnβt a great cook so these are part of her weekly meals.

3) Learn your halfway point. When energy wanes and pain climbs, there is a point of no return. You slide right into a flare.
Listen to your body. Start tapering off at the halfway point. It means you wonβt finish that every nagging βTo Doβ list. Or you might have peanut butter and jelly sandwichs for dinner. You will be the better for it.
Bless you. That's a lot even for a healthy person. Lower your expectations and take care of only the priorities. Everything else can wait to be tackled in stages.
Yes ask dr for some meds. Good luck!
