Alcohol is extremely high in histamine, and histamine is one of the chemicals some doctors have implicated in fibromyalgia.

Yes I can’t even sip a drink. Feel horrible and can’t sleep and next two days in misery. But for celebrations I drink Welch’s sparkling grape 🍇 juice or Martinelies. It’s sooo good. 🍷 or non alcoholic beer 🍺.

With my own experience I have had and have a case of dry mouth, splitting headache, and have experienced exactly what you experienced, the last time It affected my heart, and haven’t drank since.
Well wishes to you

Have never been much of a drinker but did go on several dates over a year ago which were mostly for meals out and drinks. I was going through so many different symptoms with my fibro at the time but did notice my pain was so unbearable the day after a night out! I would also feel very much out of breath. Very rarely drink alcohol now not even Xmas and new year as although still in chronic pain fatigue ect I don't want to feel how I used to after a drink of alcohol. I've only had those things since fibromyalgia struck me and many many years ago as a much younger person could drink with no problem.
