One Tight Upper Thigh/Leg?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Hi all,

I hope everyone is staying safe
I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with or is dealing with this. For the last month or two I've been dealing with pain and stiffness in only my right upper thigh. I can't sit like I like to sit, cross legged like yoga style lol. I can't lift that leg to cross the other knee while standing for say putting a shoe on etc. It's tight and painful when I do. The pain and tightness can be felt in the side of the knee too. It's like it's my whole upper leg… read more

Yeah slow stretching after tiger balm massage or an epsom salt bath will start to help. Just remember to be patient. Sometimes it takes a while for the stiffness to start to release.

I get it often, Epsom salt compresses help sometimes. Tiger Balm massaged in and compression pants. Stretches and weight training in a slow gentle progression.

I have that also only it is in my left, upper thigh. Pulled my groin doing Yoga too, in the left leg( I tried to do a move that was definitely for much younger people). Anyway, so I am having multiple problems/pain in my left leg causing me not to be able to walk without a limp. My fibromyalgia has caused much pain, exhaustion, sleepless nights, etc, and mind fog during the day. I have had this since my late thirties...I am now 62...and have been on medicine for at least 20 years; it took the edge off of the pain. However, it isn't working now and I get worse every day/week/month. It is an awful disease and I am so tired of feeling this way. I go back to the doctor this month (October 22, 2020) so, I will see what my doctor can do for me now. God Bless all of you and hang there!
