Eyes
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Wondering if anyone has had problems with their vision since this condition? My eyes hurt, twitch are so red and dry. My vision gets so cloudy and blurry at times and sometimes it even feels like my eyes are almost shaking while i am looking at something. I live off Eye scrubs, artificial tears, redness relief drops and 80@% of the day I have to keep a cold rag over my eyelids to relieve the pain. Been to the eye doctor 3 times since March and they couldn't find anything wrong except a short… read more

Mines not as bad but I use Vicks vapurub all around my eyes. It will produce cleansing tears. Then just wipe with a hot face clothe. I actually get facial ache as well and massage vicks all over. I saw my mum do it when i was young and decided to try it. Never knew why she did it.

It seems I'm not alone. It seems I have the symptoms from each comment. My doctor has talked to me about the plugs. Still debating on it. It's frustrating and it worries me.

Yes, I call my eyes my warning signal. If they are sore whne I wake I know it will be a painful and fatigue day, if they feel okay, generally I'm okay! No Dr has ever been able to tell me why. It feels exactly like conjunctivitis, which I used to get when I was young, except my eyes are not as red and no pus (thankfully!). It is very annoying but just another symptom to manage and accept. Sending healing thoughts. X

I have eye stinging too. I use drops and what seams to help most is using green tea. Make some green tea and when the teabags cool enough to put them over your eyes while laying down. Found the directions on Google. Hope it helps

Yes, my eyes do that weird shaking feeling sometimes too. Terrible feeling and bouts of blurry vision.
