Hi Aron I've just come across your post. So I'm a bit late in responding. I'm undiagnosed at the minute so I'm not sure how helpful this really is but when my problems first started the buzzing and vibrating feelings throughout my body were one of my most frequent and most irritating symptoms. To cut a very long story short about late last year I was diagnosed with dyslipidemia and very high blood pressure and since I started on the statins and blood pressure pills it's stopped completely so all I'm saying is don't put all your eggs in the fibro basket because even if you have fibro it doesn't mean your immune from getting anything else unfortunately. so I'd suggest go and have your blood pressure checked to start with and maybe go and get a once over from your doctor. I don't want to scare because it could be the fibro, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I Hope this helps. Take care.

A lot of what people in this thread have experienced (myself included) have fallen under the umbrella of neuropathy. This is a link that imo every patient and doctor of fibro should read.
@A MyFibroTeam Member ... The result that you experienced with gabapentin, I experience on Nortriptyline πͺ
Yes! It is very frightening at first. I have just learned to try to remain calm and almost try to ignore it even if it seems impossible.
I have restless leg syndrome. I have had it completely undercontrol for 10 years.
Fast forward....
My doctor introduced gabapentine. OMG !! The buzzing and jumping went bolistic. I refer to it as a nasty cattle prod. Tapered off gabapentine and went on Symbalta. WORSE!! Quadupuled the pain. Round the clock twitching and thrashing. No sleep for days. Torture!! Off Symbalta.
After a little research, these medication are KNOWN to cause nerve spasms. Actualy give people Restless Legs Syndrome.
I have noticed numb fingers and additional hearing loss, all nerve related.
Yes all the time
