This is just part of the bloodwork I had done recently. I circled the ones that are low or out of range....I don’t have a clue what it means and I don’t see my doctor for over 2 weeks. I’m hoping this is why I feel horrible every day....I haven’t felt good for several years because of fibro but after having the coronavirus, I feel even worse 🙁

Members offered support and insight to someone puzzled by bloodwork showing low red blood cells and other abnormalities after recovering from COVID-19, with many suspecting anemia as the culprit behind ongoing fatigue and weakness. Several members shared their own experiences managing anemia, recommending iron supplements taken with vitamin C for better absorption, iron infusions as a constipation-free alternative, and noting the importance of working closely with a doctor given the complexity of blood thinners and post-virus recovery. A recurring theme was encouragement to get clear answers from healthcare providers while being patient with the body's healing process, as full recovery from severe illness can take months.

The size of her blood cells are too large doesn't have high enough amount of red blood cells and slightly elevated white blood cells count. Most like is caused by stress or anemia iron and vitamin C deficiency. I learned from my Naturopathic Medicine Doctor that you need to take 500 mgs of vitamin C with iron for proper absorption

by saying too large -not sure if this means size or number ?
but in anyy case youe are pretty sick - most important is that your immunity is v low - you need to be v careful about getting infections from others- waer a mask.

Glad you are having a video chat Monday. I’m so sorry you are not feeling well, Penelope. I am wondering if the anemia could be related to the virus? Perhaps they can give you some iron since you had the blood clots..You were so ill... poor thing. I saw on the news it can take 6 months or more to fully recover...do let us know how your visit goes Monday...

Maybe you should get your Doctor or Health Care Nurse to explain the Blood Tests to You.

Sounds like you might be anaemic you may need iron supplements.

Hopefully you can get the answers you need, so that you can understand the results.
